MAMMOTH 2001

This was my first major CRM project out of college.  We went to Mammoth to conduct test excavations near the highway to assess the impact of a road expansion.  While in the area, we toured several Native American sites, such as rockshelters and a volcanic mountain called "Glass Mountain" which served as a major source of obsidian for making stone tools.
